A documentary following a Texas-based high school metal band on their road to success and all of the problems they face while trying to make it big.

Join The Cult follows Cult Of Tomorrows End, a young and inexperienced progressive thrash/metalcore band from the wealthy Houston suburb of The Woodlands, Texas. Founder and drummer Tyler Sowders is rebuilding his band from the ground up after his last line up left, and one of his new recruits is bassist and filmmaker Tyler Wright. Wright and his new members join Sowders on his road to dreamt fame, only to discover the hardships of being musicians, as well as tyranny and disheveled leadership of Tyler Sowders, whose mental stability drains each and every day.
